WAVES RESTORATION BUNDLE

Waves Restoration Bundle (X-Click, X-Hum, X-Noise and X-Crackle), version 5. $1200 to license from Waves but I have found a street price as low as $720. as a “December Special” from Sweetwater: www.sweetwater.com. And it is commonly “street priced” at about $900. (Not inexpensive but perhaps affordable.) We have not licensed this software and probably won’t with all of the pretty good restoration programs that we already have. These are Direct-X plug-ins – please look at the information in Noise Wizard. Apparently the download trial version is no longer available as I could not find any mention of it on their web site.
The trial version performed excellently on sdemo1 and on all the other files I tried it on. So this could be a “best buy” if you are serious about music restoration. Of course, you will also need a host platform to run the plug-ins.
