A pair of these sound every bit as good as Tom and I thought they would. The combination of the aluminum cone woofers with a planar (ribbon) tweeter gives a very fast response. They are especially well suited for reproducing musical instruments with a fast attack time such as the piano, acoustic guitar, harp and harpsichord. But extensive listening with a wide variety of music shows they are equally adept with vocals, chamber music, the pipe organ and a full orchestra. Because of their fast response, they are somewhat bright and they have excellent clarity.

Construction: 3/4 inch thick medium density fiberboard (MDF) with a 3/4 inch thick 13 layer birch plywood front panel; extensive internal bracing. Metal “T” nuts and machine screws are used to fasten the woofers and tweeter into the enclosure.
Finish: Acrylic eggshell enamel in either “Wind Rush” blue or “Canyonland” beige. Color chips will be sent on request. On the back of each ‘speaker there is an etched aluminum plate as shown below at approximately full size.
Availability: Each pair is custom built for you after an order is placed. A twenty percent deposit is required with the order and the balance is due on delivery. We need about six weeks to properly build and test each pair. These ‘speakers are furnished without the pictured metal stands to give you complete freedom of placement. However, the pictured stands are a stock item from Parts Express* (part number 240-742). Each stand is 24 inches tall and weighs 15 pounds empty and 22 pounds when filled with sand.
