How do I set up surround sound?
The following article was published in the December 2006 issue of
REMIX Magazine and is worth reading. It describes the
International Telecommunications Union (ITC) suggestions for 5.1 speaker
placement and setup. These suggestions are not to be taken as "gospel"
but they may give you some useful ideas about getting started.
