The TDL® model 465 is a high quality 6-channel volume control featuring an all-analog circuit (using analog multipliers), both balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs, a mute function and IR remote control. Housed in a 2RU rack mount enclosure, it is compact and easy to use.
INPUT: 47 kohms all inputs.
MASTER GAIN: Zero to unity. Can be set with the front panel knob or with the remote control.
CHANNEL GAIN: Zero to unity on each channel with a front panel knob. Each channel's control can be enabled or disabled by moving a jumper on the circuit board. Diagram and instructions in the User Guide and on the underside of the top cover plate.
DYNAMIC RANGE, NOISE and DISTORTION: More than 80 dB dynamic range -- see the Figure below. The range is over 90 dB when the sound card's baseline is subtracted from the neasurement.

MUTE: The mute function mutes all six channels. It is a toggle, that is, one press of the mute button (on the remote control) turns the mute on and lights the MUTE ON LED. The next press turns the mute and the LED off.
CONNECTORS: Six female XLR (balanced) and six female RCA (unbalanced) for inputs. Six male XLR (balanced) and six female RCA (unbalanced) for outputs. Inputs and outputs are all active all the time and may be used in any combination. 2.5 mm male connector for the 24 VAC power input. Red LED power-on indicator.
