CLICKFIX

ClickFix, version 3.03, $49 to register. This is a plug-in for Adobe Audition (or for Cool Edit 2000 or Cool Edit Pro if you have licensed versions of these programs).

The download file name is clickfix.exe, size is 205 kB.

I used Auto Normal, Auto Agressive, 33-1/3 Normal and 33-1/3 Agressive settings on sdemo1. All four removed the clicks and pops but left some surface hiss. I made a pass with Wave Corrector which removed the hiss. The final file was very acceptable.

The above review is for version 3.01. I have the latest version and if there is any appreciable difference in performance, I will report it here. (Updates are free to registered users.)
